Who better to raise funds for the animal rescue than the animals themselves! Our sea lions and dolphins are the professionals behind the custom artwork in Awesome Animal Art. Though they may hold the brush in the same way, the colorful paintings are unique in patterns and style to each marine animal. With poking brush strokes to wide swaths of movement, no two pieces of art are the same which makes these souvenir pieces sea-inspired creations. Originals and prints are available to purchase on the island with 100% of funds going to support the stranding response at the Chanel Islands Marine Wildlife Institute.

Channel Islands Marine & Wildlife Institute(CIMWI)is dedicated to making a difference through marine mammal rescue, rehabilitation, research and education to promote ocean and human health. CIMWI is a part of the Marine Mammal Health and Stranding Response Program under the direction of NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service. CIMWI is the only authorized organization to respond to and rehabilitate pinnipeds (seals and sea lions) and cetaceans (dolphins, porpoises and whales) for Ventura County in California.
